Guidelines for abstract submission

Should you have an abstract accepted for the Conference, please take a few minutes of your time to carefully read:

These instructions will help you with the preparation of your presentation during the Conference.

  • Abstracts should be submitted electronically only through this website:
  • Abstracts should be submitted according to the instructions detailed on the website and by the specified deadline.
  • Abstracts received after the deadline cannot be accepted and will therefore not be considered for the programme or publication.
  • All abstracts must be written in English.
  • When submitting your abstract, choose the topic it most relates to (please refer to the list below). The Scientific Committee will decide on definitive topic assignment upon abstract selection.
  • Abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentation. A preference for poster presentation can be indicated although the Scientific Committee will make the final decision as to how the abstract will be presented.
  • Abstracts will be peer reviewed without knowledge of their source. Acceptance or rejection of an abstract will be based on the average mark awarded by the reviewers.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the Child’s Nervous System Journal (Springer).
  • Submission of an abstract implies the commitment that the presenting author will attend the Neuroendoscopy 2007 Conference and the expectation that financial resources to attend are available.
  • The presenting author must register to the Conference in order for the accepted abstract to be published as mentioned above.
  • Abstracts can be submitted for special sessions during the Conference:
    • the session of the Japanese Academy of Hydrocephalus (JAH);
    • the session of the Section of Neuroendoscopy of the Italian Society of Neurosurgery (SINch);
    • the session for Nurses
  • Abstracts submitted for these special sessions should be submitted in English only and should follow the same rules as other abstracts. If accepted, these abstracts will also be published in the CNS Journal.
